Class sizes are limited to allow for individualized attention. In most cases only the dog and one handler are permitted to attend class. You must obtain permission for extra people to attend the class. Please feel free to ask.
All Dogs must be preregistered and prepaid for classes.
Prior to registering the first time, everyone should email Lana at trainingdirector@pawandhand.com to discuss your training needs and get approval.
Your spot in class is not secured without full payment.
After the due date or class start, absolutely no refunds will be given under any circumstances.
Any "drop ins" or "makeups" must have prior approval from Lana.
New students, must provide proof of the dog's vaccination records and clean fecal report prior to being approved to sign up. We require distemper/parvo with parainfluenza (DAPP or DHPP), bordatella, and for dogs 5 mo and older, rabies. Dogs must also have parainfluenza included in a vaccine at least every 12 months. If your dog has the 3-year DAPP or DHPP, then the bordatella vaccine needs to contain parainfluenza protection. Puppies need to have had at least their second distemper/parvo/parainfluenza vaccine, and be at least 10 weeks old. All dogs must also have a clean fecal test report within the previous 12 months. Email those documents, preferably as pdfs, to Lana at trainingdirector@pawandhand.com
Any class cancellations due to ANY emergency, will be posted in the following places: *the website Home page; *the Paw & Hand facebook page; *the Paw & Hand facebook group, and *the outgoing message of the business phone: 570-980-1546. It is the student's responsibility to check for cancellations before heading out to class.
Visit the Class Descriptions page for class descriptions. If you have further questions contact Lana at trainingdirector@pawandhand.com (preferred), or call Joe Anne at 570-980-1546. Calls may take 24 to 72 hrs to return, depending on Joe Anne's trial secretary duties.
