Once approved to sign up for a class, follow the two steps below:
[1] Register -- click on the button above or our LINK TO REGISTRATION FORM to provide registration information
[2] TO PAY click on the button above or use the following link to the online store: PAY ONLINE (Must use a credit card; (Google Pay, Apple Pay & Paypal not accepted.) I have used Square Register for over 14 years with zero security issues.
For hard copy registrations: Print the REGISTRATION FORM w Waiver and mail it ASAP with a check payable to "Paw & Hand Obedience" to the mailing address on the form, or make arrangements to drop it off at the building when someone is there
Class sizes are limited to allow for some individualized attention. In most cases only the dog and one handler are permitted to attend class. You must obtain permission for extra people to attend the class. Please feel free to ask.
All Dogs must be preregistered and prepaid for classes. Your spot in class is not secured without full payment.
Prior to registering the first time, everyone should email Lana at trainingdirector@pawandhand.com to discuss your training needs and get approval. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FOR REPLIES; THE "pawandhand.com" email address + attachments cause some email providers to kick the school emails into spam. er5
After the due date or class start, absolutely no refunds will be given under any circumstances.
Any "drop ins" or "makeups" must have prior approval from Lana.
New students, must provide proof of the dog's following vaccination/vet records:
distemper/parvo vaccine w/parainfluenza included (DHPP or DAPP)
bordatella (kennel couogh) vaccine - intranasal version preferred; it usually contains parainfluenza and adenovirus protection
rabies for dogs older than 4 or 5 months of age
a clean/negative fecal test report within the past 12 months
NOTE: vet industry studies have shown that the parainfluenza portion of the DHPP or DAPP only provides protection for about 1 year. The intranasal and injectable versions of the bordatella can contain parainfluenza, but the oral does NOT. If your dog is in their 2nd or 3rd year of their DHPP or DAPP it is highly encouraged that you make sure your dog's bordatella contains parainfluenza.
PUPPIES: need to be at least 10 weeks old to attend the school, and they need to have had at least the first 2 of the 3-shot distemper/parvo series
Email the above documents, preferably as pdfs, to Lana at trainingdirector@pawandhand.com
Any class cancellations due to ANY emergency, will be posted in the following places: *the website Home page; *the Paw & Hand facebook page; *the Paw & Hand facebook group, and *the outgoing message of the business phone: 570-980-1546. It is the student's responsibility to check for cancellations before heading out to class.
